Ikebana (the art of flower arrangement)

I had the opportunity too, on a few occassions to learn the art of traditional Japanese flower arrangement, the Ikebana. The pictures show that my creations were far from the professional work, but I feel that this few occasions have brought me closer to a better understanding of Japanese art, and ever since then, I have a slightly different perspective towards a "bouquet" of flowers. :)
