Testimonial from former students:

We always got along very well with Rob sensei. He is a devoted and enthusiastic person with great determination. Whenever he saw that I was getting a little tired, or that I was losing focus of the situation, he would divert a little to a different subject which would get me "shaken" up and ready to continue the lesson more effectively. What I really liked about was that he would always speak out about his opinions on various issues. I think Rob sensei’s values are similar to mine and that’s why we got along so well. He would always set deadlines for my work – which was his hidden strictness – but neither did I want to disappoint him too, and so I would always try to do all my homework and prepare for the lessons properly. However, if I didn’t managed to complete a task, sensei was still always understanding and helpful which I was very happy with, and I didn’t want to misuse his kindness. (S. Beata)

It was very good to learn from Rob sensei, because I felt that he has a well-structured curriculum. Because of that, I went to my graduation with a peaceful heart.  In fact, I’ve just smiled today as I recalled having cried a few times during the lessons…(P. Katalin)

Rob sensei’s linguistic competency is excellent. He knows the Japanese language thoroughly, the "mood" of the words and their underlying meanings. This is very helpful for learning a language because I could get acquainted with the foreign language at a deeper depth and also have more awareness of the culture. The lessons were thematically organized and allocated by days. For example, I had the session on speech on Thursdays and left the learning for the language exam for Mondays. That was very good. Besides, I always had Rob sensei’s book with me which I had to translate from. His teaching method was manifold and was not restricted to only one scheme. I find this very effective. (F. Stefan )
